4to. (11 x 8.75 inches). pp.viii, 134. 14 original albumen photographic prints laid in, onlt partly lifting (but still firmly fixed). Green cloth, blocked in gilt to front cover, blind-stamped to lower cover, covers marked, faded to spine, with wear to head and foot. All edges gilt. Brown coated endpapers. Inner hinges strengthened some time ago. Albumens lightly toned towards edges. O/w contents clean and bright. Binding firm and square. A much better than Very Good copy. An early example of a book illustrated with original sepia toned albumen photographs, not coloured.
