Consists of half-title. portrait frontis, title for 1824 second edition, title for 1817 edition, dedication page, Preface, List of Subscribers, Contents, fold-out map, fold-out plan. 152 pages completes Part I. The Second Part [dated 1817] continues the pagination through to page 302. Part The Third [Appendix] has cviii pages. 21 full-page plates [some with 2 images]. 5 fold-outs, including an engraved portrait. Original full decorated Russia gilt with five raised bands and decorated panels. Edges of boards gilded, with wide inner dentelles, marbled endpapers. A.e.g. Outer joints rubbed, with slight split measuring approx 1.5 inches to lower joint of front board, not affecting the integrity of the book. A very good, tight, sound copy in a handsome binding.
